Students register for AROTC classes listed as RTC1 through regular DU registration, though they are taught on other campuses in the Denver metro area 和 follow the semester calendar.

四年计划

The st和ard four-year program consists of two phases:

基础课, normally completed during the freshman 和 sophomore years, consists of courses in military science, 警官职业发展, 领导理论与管理.

The advanced course coincides with the junior 和 senior years. Subject areas include leadership techniques, 教学方法, 战术和单位作战, 军事法, 历史, 国家战略, 和军队政策.

Completion of a four-week Cadet Leadership 课程 (CLC) in the summer is required prior to commissioning, with attendance at this camp normally between the junior 和 senior years. Students should check with the Military Science Department at the University of Colorado Boulder about the required courses.

The abbreviated two-year program consists of the same courses offered in the advanced course; however, both undergraduate 和 graduate students may become qualified for this program through successful completion of a four-week summer basic camp.

Students should contact a professor of military science at CU Boulder for specific requirements 和 options available based on each student's status at the time of program entry.

Students who are veterans of military service or who have participated in Junior ROTC or similar organizations may have a portion or all the basic requirements waived by a professor of military science at CU Boulder.

奖学金

Students enrolled full time may compete for three-year 和 two-year scholarships. The scholarships also pay a book allowance of $1,200 per year 和 a monthly tax-free stipend ranging from $300 to $500.

 

Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) 和 Dedicated Army National Guard (ARNG) 奖学金

The GRFD 和 Dedicated ARNG scholarships are two- 和 three-year scholarships available for members of the Army Reserve (AR) 和 Army National Guard (ARNG) who desire a commission in the Reserve Forces. Applicants must join or be members of the AR or ARNG 和 participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) as a cadet.

奖学金 are awarded on a competitive basis. Students apply for this scholarship during the spring semester of their freshman or sophomore year.
